The media regulation party continues…

There are two new posts over on the Inforrm blog, covering events this week. One on how the Leveson Inquiry is open to all via livestream and tweet; the second reports last night’s Media Society debate at Westminster University, ‘The PCC is dead. Does television hold the key to better press regulation?‘ with Steven Barnett, Roy Greenslade, Andrew Gilligan and Roger Bolton (chair: Julia Hobsbawm).

It’s a week of non-stop livestreamed media law and ethics entertainment, what with numerous Parliamentary committees and Leveson to follow online. If you can’t get enough of media regulation, there’s another event coming up at City Law School on 23 November: ‘Is the ‘fit and proper person’ test in broadcasting inadequate?’ with Steven Barnett, Perry Keller, Ashley Roughton and Ian Walden. Book your tickets here.
